Hi everyone, I'm considering limb lengthening at the London Surgery Museum and I was wondering if the exhibits there are influencing patient decisions. Have any of you visited the museum and felt like the exhibits swayed your choice of procedure or device?

Honestly, the cost and rehab time were my main concerns when I underwent limb lengthening surgery. The pain during the first 2 weeks was brutal, but it was worth it in the end. I paid around $50,000 for the procedure and spent about 6 months in rehab. The exhibits at the London Surgery Museum didn't really influence my decision, but they did give me a better understanding of the process.

I'm not sure if it's worth the risk of non-union or other complications. I read that the ISKD device has a pretty high mechanical complication rate. Has anyone had a good experience with this device?
