Dr Le Van Doan - Associate Professor, MD, PhD from Hanoi, Vietnam
Director of Trauma and Orthopedics of 108 hospital.
Method: LON
The best place to do LL in the world.
He changed my view about LL
Experience:
* Over 800 LL cases and success rate of 100%. Mostly over 7cm, with many cases over 10cm.
* Thousands of fixing deformed bones cases
With his 30 years experience with leg orthorpedic, your leg will be perfectly in shape. Failed case of other doctors who cannot fix it came to him and get fixed perfectly.

Price is $15k all inclusive (including surgery, medication, food, physical therapy and accommodation at high-class apartment for 3 months).

Here is my thought comparing 2 other methods:
Dr Doan’s price is 1/10 dr paley and the result i think is better than dr paley’s internal nail. I lengthened 7cm tibia and took me 4 months to walk normally from surgery day (dr paley will take 6 months to walk like that) Dr.Paley is very good doctor and this difference is because femur takes longer time to recover.
I’m just one of his patients feeling satisfied about my result and write this post.

Here is pictures of his latest patient from USA. He has no pain until now and very happy

I'd rather go in Russia for tibial LL than in Vietnam. There are many choices in Russia in terms of doctors and methods (pure external, LON or LATN). Cost is even less than Vietnam so IDK why should I go in Vietnam for doing this.

Be aware guys, this is a sketchy post.

Lengthening the tibia 6 cm is already a stretch, everything over that limit is in almost all circumstances very risky and dangerous!

Sure, above 5 cm is risky for tibia but Lee in Korea does 7 or even 7.5 cm with LON tibia and he is regarded as one of the best in the world so IDK about safe limits for tibia, it's random and dependent on patients IMO, some can go above 6 and some can't even reach 5 without AT issues it seems.

10 cm is a disaster for tibia indeed, nobody should go above 6.5 cm IMO.

It’s so funny reading you guys talk 😂 i was like you guys at first, i met dr Doan and said i wanted to lengthen 5cm. Dr Doan said i can do 6cm, i felt strange. Then after talking with the physical therapists i understand more about tibia lenghthening and seeing successful stories around, everybody go 7,8,9cm , i finally finished 7cm 😂 yeah 10cm are rare. But below 8 is definitely safe if you are under 35
Also tibia is much more easier to lengthen than femur. You can see all the tibia’s muscles are on 1 side, so it’s easy to stretch them at once. But the femur have muscles on front, back and 2 sides, very complicated to stretch and lengthen.

The tibia is less stretched, it takes more time and recovery is slower. It is true that it is easier due to the muscular issue, but I speak within my ignorance. Even so, I think it is easier with the femur, but more painful.

Yeah personally I would err on the side of caution.

Seeing what has happened in Turkey has kind of turned me off leaving the US unless I find a doctor that is extensively trained in the procedures and with a large institution backing them.

Good luck going to Russia amidst war in Ukraine, pretty sure it's a safe and friendly country for westerners! :)
