About the nail removal : it costs 7300 which is somehow huge.
Would it be a problem to keep it ? If not, why pay and suffer to remove it ?

The nail has to come out at one point. The timing is not important. The hardware can erode over long period plus you can't citi scan with the titanium inside your body. I read somewhere.

No, it's not a problem to leave them in. In fact many people who get corrections have the nails left in permanently. Removing them seems to be a CLL thing.
CT scans, and possibly MRI would be hindered if rods are to remain. If possible, it would be much preferable to remove the rods in due time. Also the bone needs to regain it's elasticity (hindered by the firmness of the rods, real recovery happens after removal)
I've heard the doctor requires you to undergo a training regimen before surgery.
What does the doctor require in terms of pre-surgery stretching? Which stretches are you supposed to do?
And just how muscular are your legs supposed to be...? How does he judge if you are "fit" enough?
That's why he's considered the top doctor
I am so eager to contact him, but I do not know what to include in my mail,
I have learned that he ignores most emails, could anyone help me out?
I'd be very gratefull, thank you!
Try not to write an essay in your first email. Ask him 1 or 2 short questions and, then, when he replies, you can continue asking him the rest. He doesn't have time to go through lengthy emails since he probably gets tons of them.
Good luck
If he replies, can you update the thread if you find out something new.

Yes please . It's out of my budget but I'd like to know...
