Quote from: Masteryourlife on January 19, 2022, 04:29:53 PMThe statement up here of women under 170 cm are short it's not completely crazy .
The difference between male n females stands in a 10 cm difference according to my personal experience, meaning that a 180cm guy is like a 170 cm girl .
Some crazy ones says its 15cm or 20 cm meaning that a 190cm guy compares to a 170 cm girl which is ridiculous to even hear n they bring up stats made on (!?) .
So under 180cm for guys and 170cm for girls , It can be seen as going on the short side of the spectrum .
I'm 5'9 n I feel short , a 165 cm girl might be considered average but can feel short as well because on the paper its avarage but in reality we see a lot of tall girls n boys.
The difference tho does not stand In his /her statement of girls under 170cm are short , but in the fact that being a short girl might not be a flaw (A LOT ..not me..but a lot of men likes short girls compared to tall ones) while being short or average (in some places) for a guy might be perceived and therefore treated by society as a big flaw ;that is a HUGE difference .
The following statement of girls under 170cm should not have kids is the reason why the off topic section should be deleted; he clearly lacks of any kind of rationality .
Objectively speaking, you add about 14.5 cm to the woman's height to find her equivalent male percentile.

Yep ok ..a 165cm girl compares to a 180cm guy..yep sure !
Stats are stats and give a rough estimation n they are made on general datas .
My doctor was about to type 180 on my stats but I told him I was not 180 but 175 so imagine how accurate those datas might be (we don't even know how many samples have been taken)
In everyday life it's a 10 cm gap but I'm not here to convince anyone
In my experience it's around 10-12cm of gap; I don't know though.

I'm not giving my opinion: I'm outright tell you this as a fact. No, the gap is is about 5 inches--objectively. Why do you think you add 13 cm to the mother's height when calculating a son's projected height?
Quote from: Audous on January 19, 2022, 05:04:54 PMCurious to know why you want 6+ children?
It's a long explanation, but it's not something I'm willing to compromise on whatsoever. It has to happen, period.

Why u ended up shorter then your projection ?
Why others with short parents and short granp but tall uncle somewhere end up being super tall ? (I know plenty of them)
This is not to trigger you at all, I respect you , but to prove the point that stats re just stats , they do not take 100% of people and they are not accurate because no one gives a f**k to be that precise on knowing the exact difference in heights or avarage heights ;its just us .
So they add 13 cm based on stats which as I'm saying, are not accurate because doctors who register those datas ,often do not care and plug in wrong measures .
And I know that for a fact because that happened to me but idrc it's not a big deal ig but I invite you to not believe blindly stats because around the world no one cares about those things as much as we do so they are not accurate .
If you go outside I think u would agree with me

I've explained why: I had a rare growth disorder called precocious puberty; my height was stunted by 6-8 inches as a result. Meanwhile, my younger brother ended up exactly at our midparental height of 5'11.5". Yes, exceptions happen--but in my case, it was extremely rare (like 1 in 6000 children rare). For most other people, this isn't the case. In fact, I don't know of anyone who ended up like that outside of cases of clear cuckolding.
I do go outside, and my observations line up almost exactly with the statistical average.

My point was larger then your singolar experience ,was an example that projections are just projections based on random datas .
As I said tho, no big deal u can have ur own opinion as I've mine .
Edit: If I'm not mistaking ,you should be the one aiming at like 7.5 cm tibia or something like that , believing in stats n the story of the 20% length of the bone when the vast majority of people in here heavily suggested to not cross the 5 cm (former patients) .
My advice (which means nothing because I'm no doctor or anything) is to be little less focused on random stats n be more practical because at times reality is way different then unknown datas .

That's correct, my current goal is a a little less than 20% of my initial tibial length, or 7.5 cm (which is about 19.5%). As far as I can tell, there's no consensus on the ideal amount to lengthen the tibia, but 5-8 cm seems to be that zone depending on various factors. Of course, I won't know until I start lengthening with Dr. Catagni or Solomin.
