I also lean towards Option 2 as it gives you the flexibility to adjust to a higher height and subsequently decide if you want a higher final height.Quad also is extremely taxing on the body, I can imagine. lengthening only a single segment is already an extremely invasive cosmetic surgery. I live in Sweden where the average male is probably 181 cm. My tallest colleague is 192 cm, I think 192 -195 cm is more than enough even in Sweden. Because of your high starting height, 7 cm femurs should affect biomechanics less. My starting height(162 cm)  is much shorter than yours, I did 5 cm tibias years ago and recovered 100%. I am happy I did it as it improved my proportions.  I want to do internal femurs when I have enough savings.after femurs I will have proportionate legs for my torso.

That said, not sure how reliable G Nail is. Why not precice? Safety first, it is more important than weight bearing nail.

I have never left anything unfinished, and never will. I have already started this journey, so it's too late for me to back out now. And let's face it, doing 7 cm femoral lengthening with a weight-bearing internal nail is not that big of a challenge. If you continue lurking on this forum, you will eventually be notified when my procedure is done. But I have an upcoming bimax-surgery (paid by the government) to focus on first, so it will not happen tomorrow.

Hey man,

do you have mental issues with your height? Because if you have, at this height it probably won't solve the underlying issue (see: le_tremba and his instagram channel/jouney).

And if you don't, then there are probably a ton of other things you can buy/afford (e.g. psychotherapy, a tiny house etc.) that will add more quality on an easier way to your life. Well, it's your decision in the end but at least go to a psychologist once to really figure at out your reason behind LL and not be dissapointed afterwards.

Are you German as well btw?

I shouldn't even bother to answer you, but here it goes.

First off, I suggest you to read the whole thread before commenting. It will hopefully clarify things for you.

Second off, I don't think anyone should be required to justify the reason or reasons why they opt to undergo leg lengthening surgery, despite their initial height pre-lengthening. Unless, of course, you are suggesting that only people with a certain initial height are "more allowed" to undergo LL without being judged for it than people already considered tall or tall enough. Is that the case?
