For all those who did it, say you lengthen 8 cm on femurs? Do you gain exactly 8 cm or lower, and by how much? Is it the same on tibias as well?
The nail actually maxes out at 8.2/8.3cm and the loss is around .2-.3 cm im pretty sure, so if you max out the nail, you'll get 8
You lose a very, very small amount due to the femoral angle. The femurs aren't perfectly vertical. The amount lose due to this angle is quite small though. A rounding error.
I got 8cm pretty on point
what pure garbage - 1cm=0.9945cm - approximate datea, from where!!?? 🙈🤣🤣🤣 some 9f the crap people post
if you gain 8cm - the bones consolidate, guess what? - you gain 8cm 🤷🥵🤣
Are you stupid? Femurs are not completely straight to the ground, they have a curvature, so you indeed don't get as tall as the femur is legnthened.
The difference is minimal though but still it is more than tibias and in reality it is about 0.5cm for 8cm lengthening.
In tibias it is almost the same, you will lose for 7cm for example less than 0.2cm.
are you even more stupid than the other posters -
bone is bone - if it is lengthened - it is lengthened
0.5 for 8cm would be 0.06 cm per cm - where are you getting this nonsense from?
how do you possibly know that you lose 0.2cm for 7cm?? - so for 3cm you lose 0.1cm!!??
you actually state less than 0.2cm - like what 0.1??Â
what doctor would ever say such crap!!??
