Hi guys,
I could not find post I could attach my enquiry to.
So,  my question is, how many cms are possible to achieve in one go on lower/upper leg only? My wish is to gain 19cm of height overall. I would like to do it in 2 goes.  Is that possible and safe with external? 9,5cm in one surgery.

I've always read 5cm or 10% of the bone's length is as safe as it gets while minimizing other potentially nasty long term side effects of LL. The taller you are the more you can lengthen has always been something I've seen people say. I've also heard that LL is harder for women because they have smaller bones so I'm not exactly sure what this entails, but I think it might mean you can't even lengthen as much as 10% per segment. Anything over 15cm is pretty extreme, hell some have said 10cm is pushing your luck, so honestly I'd drop this idea of doing almost 20 cm altogether, also I'm not even sure how tall you actually are. There are only 2 examples of anyone who has done about 20cm and these people are rather extreme examples. Iirc both of them were around 5'8/173cm and both of these people wound up around 6'2-6'3 or 190-191cm. I have no idea what they're doing now, but I can't imagine either of these men being in good shape today. If needed I'll try to find their before and after pics.

I am aware of that, but I hear mixed oppinion here and there.
The clinic I am interested in, says that 10cm is achieveable in one surgery ,(5cm on upper and 5cm on lower leg)

Are you telling me you'd get cll twice?
I'm asking because I doubt you'll find a doctor in the states who's willing to do almost 10cm on your tibias and femurs.

My ask is more about if it is safer to wear 4 fixators at once and gaining 10cm in overall ,rather than doing 9,5cm only on lower/upper legs ?

Its a selling point. 10 cmino e surgery is very unsafe.

I don't think you can do 4 fixators at once. You've said you wish to gain 19cm which is pretty extreme. There's only 1 person on this entire forum who has gone to about 10 cm and this guy is an extreme example, but he managed 11cm. His leg ratio looks pretty bad because he did all of this on a single segment. So yes its possible, but is it safe? No, I'd say for the vast majority of people this is a death wish.

https://bit.ly/2SrJCrO This is apoth, I thought he went for 191, 17cm is still extreme.
I looked up greekster first and got apotho, but I couldn't find a decent before and after of greek only the mock ups.
Apparently his arms and torso were perfect for the procedure because I'd argue apoth has the best ratios I've seen
yet and this is assuming he isn't shopping his photos.

Two surgeries either way, I am determined to do it.
My goal might be pretty crazy, but I  hope it is possible.
