13cm is pretty much the most doctors like Paley will generally allow. (5cm in tibias & fibulas, 8cm in femurs.)

It is really confusing. I wonder why any doctor agreed to 11cm if it is considered unsafe?

That's good for me, my goal is 10-11cm tops. I'm just hoping this doesn't compromise my ability to lift.

It’s around 5 cm on tibia and 6 cm on femurs overall if you did 10 cm it’d have to be over 2 surgeries but around the 5 cm mark you’d be pretty safe
