The answer to these questions is always the same. Do 6 cm femur and complete that first. If you still feel the need to after recovering and you have the money then do 4 cm tibia afterwards.

Just go for femurs 8cm. Take it a centimeter at a time. You can stop at any point if you don't like how the proportions look once you reach a certain length

In my country you can take a vacation for 6 months.

Will extending the tibia by 4-5 cm make me regain the ability to walk after 6 months?

6 months for everything, i.e. 3 months for extension and 3 months for recovery.

please answer. Thank you.

Like most other here says go with Femurs. They heal faster, has a much lower complication rate and with a higher overall safe height gain potential.

I understand, but it's better to start with the shins because they take longer to regenerate, and then move on to the thighs.

example:

I have been extending my shins by 5.2 cm for 3 months
then I rest for 3 months.

3 months later I stretch my thigh by 6.8 cm
then I rest for 3 months.

The point is that starting with the shins, while stretching the thighs, they also regenerate.

I finish the topic in 12 months with a 12 cm stretch and a return to fitness.

What do you think ?

5.2 cm on tibia is risky. You will not be walking normal after 6 months.

If really are serious about doing the LL, the doc will usually ask you to make a full rentgen of your legs. Once you have that you will have a precises measurement of your bone length. You have a nice span, therefore doing an LL is very much an option for you. Depending on the result of the xrays, you can choose which option is better for you. Also, get enough money for the internals. 6 months is plenty of time to regenerate.

The surgery itself as well as rehab takes its toll on you, doing a quad surgery is really not recommended in any case. You might do the first surgery and realize that its too much for you, hence you wont go for the 2nd one. As for the amount of centimeters you will gain, its a moot point to talk about it right now. The decision to be made right now is to schedule the surgery (or not). Whether you gonna get this much or that much height depends on the last weeks of your distraction phase, your mental endurance and pain. Which doc are you going with?

The odds of you walking within 6 months with femur 6cm+ is not very high. And with tibias at 5cm+ theres very little chance you will be walking within 6 months. I am 6 months into my femur and I am not walking yet at 8cm. So YMMV. Anyone who is saying 6 month is plenty of time has not done LL. There is alot that can delay you or go wrong. Good luck mate.

You have slow bone growth that you still can't walk?
