There's very little chance a 5'4 woman or a 5'10 man suffered from any form of heightism that significantly impacted their professional lives, unless they were working in an area where looks are a priority.

I hate to derail Sanity's thread like this, but have you actually missed out on any opportunities for being short? I know there are stats that prove black people's resumes can be rejected on the spot based on black sounding names alone, but have you seen anything that might make you think your height played a part in anything?

I live in Canada. Discrimination in Candada whther it be heightism, racism is very subtle.
I feel that people have this outdated idea that racism or any forms of discrmination is outspoken,outward etc.. There are times that does happen. But most of the time at least in Canada prejudice is polite. To the untrain eye it doesnt seem like there is no prejudice in Canada. But I have lived in Canada all my life and there is tons of prejudice here. People who get discriminated the most are short people, people with mental health issues or addictions, people with physical disabilities,, indigenous people (they get it the worse) and of course people of color and unattractive people.

damn son... even ur mom is not short just average. my mom's 5'1 dad 5'11 i reached 5'8, i'd say i only lost about an inch.
in ur case u've lost around 4-5. i dont even know if thts possible unless u had some serious life threatening disease. well don worry ll wil save u.
