I honestly why people think victim blaming is okay. Okay lets blame the victims of discrimination. Its their fault that society treats them like they are inferior. That makes no fking sense.

Its like stop playing this game. Everyone KNOWS that people are shallow. And that looks matter a lot! And that WE ARE treated based on our appearance.  So lets stop playing this silly game that all we have to do is work hard,, etc it doesnt matter. If a person wants to be successful in this life its LOOKS, HEIGHT AND PERSONALITY. You have to have the entire package to succeed. And this is especially true if you are a person of color.

This is demonstrably false, there are plenty of people who lack any combination of the 3 things you've listed and they're very successful. Hell, there are some people who lack all 3 of these things and again they're successful, unless you have a completely different definition for success you're wrong.

In your case, I highly doubt it is something related to your height. I don't see 5'1+ women being discriminated in the workplace everywhere. Of course, I could be entirely wrong on this; I'm open to the idea or debate. I'd say it's far more probable it would have something to do with race(ism), or something else far more prevalent in society.

Its intersectional discrimination. But because Im a black woman I am expected to be just as good or better. Thats how it goes. And me being short ANd black.means I have no chance in hell in becoming successful and thats the reality.

The thing is I literally can't recount one instance where I was directly treated as being inferior because of my height. I do remember when I was ~16 my girlfriend at the time was like "ahh if you were juuuust a little bit taller" but she said a lot of things like that and so do most teen girls. Can you give an instance where someone said to you: you are below this height threshold, therefore I will NOT consider you for this : romantic, social, professional role? Like when does that ever happen, realistically? Especially as a woman. Yes, appearance is important, but height is probably the least important aspect of a woman's appearance, and I REALLY do mean least. Look at short girls like iJustine and Rosanna Pansino, 5'3 and 4'11(?) that's like 30th and 5th percentile. Do you really think their lives would be that much different if they were each like 5'8 and 5'5? Would they suddenly have an influx of more handsome suitors, or be given more job opportunities, or socially become much more famous because of their heights? No lol.

Honestly, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was racism that was more of her problem. 5'1 isn't even that short for a women and even if it was I don't think people really discriminate against women for being smaller/shorter, actually it always seemed like taller women have been envious of shorter women in my experience. Then again I'm a man, I can't say I know for certain people aren't giving her or other women a hard time for being short.

There are successful, beautiful black women like Nicki Minaj and Jada Smith who happen to be short as well.... Being a short black woman isn't necessarily the reason she isn't successful.

Its a combination of both. Like i said being black means you have something that is already against you. And I have to prove to be just as good. Thats how it goes. ANd being short disqualifies me as a black person. Plus there are other short women on here who are complaining about how they are treated. Some names that come to mine are unicorn, kenda, annalisa these people have repetively expressed that their reason for doing CLL goes beyond dating issues. But men want to misogynistic and deny the struggles of short women.
