Did you do this on your own? Had anyone with you during your time when u did the surgery?

This was a full-service clinic so I had their staff 24/7.

Hey, I would also like to do this surgery because my proportions is so bad for me to become fashionable. Is it better to do femurs or tibias when you are wearing clothes ( I tend to wear looser and oversized fitted clothings)?

Hi

I am planning to have tibia lengthening (LON method) but I have some concerns regarding lengthening of fibula bone. So is it necessary to fixate fibula at both lower and upper ends to the tibia? I saw a lot of doctors only fixate it at the lower end.

Is it going to create issues if it is not fixed to tibia at upper end?

Hi MDOW

Since 2007 have you noticed a change in the type of people getting LL surgery? Particularly as it is being advertised far more now than 15 years ago.

A long loose shirt will cover up elongated femurs.  But most fashionable stuff is tight rather than loose as far as I know.

I don't know.

No.  It still appeals to the same type of person.  I don't think ads matter since that type of person seeks it out, and the ads are few and short-reaching.  They just help doctors compete with each other for the same patients.

Hi do they still offer this today?
I heard China has banned cosmetic limb lengthening.
