Quote from: Uppland on March 13, 2015, 02:08:01 AMDon't get hung up on numbers, my wingspan is 174CM (I'm 179) and I'm probaly gonna do 7CM anyway.

In my case it's just that I've got small shoulders.

I think lots of people on here over-stress proportions. They are important, but unless your super-disproportion and look like a daddy long-legs, no one in real life will notice. My femurs definitely look long (though they're very thin right now by my standards), but I'm not concerned about it.

Unfortunately(?) I have broad shoulders, so my arm length is not "ideal" for LL. But I've always thought my thighs were short and stubby so I think doing femurs will be great for me. Plus no one is going to notice the proportion difference, there are tons of people who have a shorter wingspan than their height naturally...

Didin't know you can have a negative ape index just from your shoulders.
If you hit the gym often enough you could easily fix that.

Well my point was that your measurments isn't everything, you might look fine anyway. For example my arms are 75CM and my dad who is 187CM has 78CM arms so there isn't a huge difference but most importantly: it looks normal enough even at 186CM.

Im just telling you cause I will look so weird in photos that I wont post my proportions up.

182 cm with 174 cm wingspan is a joke. My arms are 78 cm so we are in the same situation (rather, similar). 185 cm + with 174 cm wingspan will be more of a joke.

If you ever do 185 cm with a 174 cm arm-span, please post a pic up. But by then I will be out of the forum already (done with lengthening)

Maybe we measure differently because I don't think I look that strange when I wear 11CM lifts. Sure I could do with broader shoulders and longer arms, I might even lengthen my humerus and clavicles, but to me it's acceptable -and I'm picky about these things.
