I've decided to write a quick resume of my journey so far here we go:
SURGERY DAY (DAY 1) (10 July 2017)
Me and my parents in the room at around 6 AM. A man came and shaved my legs in the shower. I felt quite nervous. Asked myself what am I doing but I did not go back. I waited patiently till they take me . At the elevator they gave me a tranquilizer. I felt like I was drunk. A surgeon took me and joked "Now we'll have your kidney". I laughed unwillingly.
I woke up. Felt almost nothing. My girlfriend was right there next to the bed. I took her hand. A felt asleep again.
DAY 2
Day 2 was the most painfull day of my life. They cutted my epidural to get me on my feet. I fainted. I counted minutes to my next epidural injection. People always tend to forget pain very easily but I still remember, 11 July was a torture.
DAY 3-20
I can't sleep well. I have constant pain. Not too much but constant, does not go away with parol. I started lenghtening on 6'th day (maybe 7 I don't remember) after the surgery. Lengthening is painless. I spend time with my girlfriend watching netflix. But when there is constant pain you can't enjoy anything. One thing I could advise is that to have sxx or to masturbate can be a great relief of pain at least during the time till you ejaculate.
DAY 20-57
I'm painless. No constant pain. No ballerina. Till day 37 (3cm's) I didn't use walker or cruches to walk. Then suddenly the front of my left leg started to hurt as I put pressure therefore I passed behind the walker.
DAY 57-70
In line with what they always say: things start to crap after 5cm. Suddenly I started to have ballerina at 5.5. From 5.5 to 6 cm I had so fking pain. My legs were shouting me to stop. Even the tops of my feet were incredibly acheing. I can't sleep. At 6cm I had huge ballerina.
DAY 70-90
I stopped lenghtening and things started to get better. I'm painless again. I still have ballerina even that I do everyday 2 sessions with maybe the best PT in the world. I also go to plates 3 times a week and work my legs. I sent my xrays to Dr Inan. He sad me to do 5mm more and then go 5mm backwards as this stimulates bone growth. I did what he wanted. But as this compresses the new forming bone, I can't give any weight to my legs. I can't even walk with the walker.
Finally I'm around 6.3-6.5 cm's.
Last thing that I would like to mention is that being elastic before the surgery didn't work for me. I had incredible ballerina. I was like a gymnastic artist. I could touch the ground with my elbows with my legs straight. Now I'm elastic like an average guy.
Jexus, Tibial LON with Monorails - Dr. Muharrem Inan @ Turkey
Hey Guys,
Hope you all doing great.
It's the 109'th day of my surgery and things are much better now.
I'm going back to my normal life. I can walk unaided since the 100'th day of the surgery even though I have casts on my legs. I didn't think I can walk this soon. Of course, I'm walking really weird and my hips are swinging left and right but it's okay It will pass. I'm somewhere between 175-176.5 and I feel completely normal. I would want to be 1.80 but I don't care that much as long as I have long legs and gain 3cm's from the shoe I'll look like 1.80+ Hope my bones heal quickly.
If I knew the Muharrem Inan's gastrocnemius lengthening was painless I would go for 7.5 but who cares.
I'm eager to return to my normal life. I miss hanging out with friends, smoke and drink alcohol.
I'm here for your questions, also you can pm me.
Best wishes,
Jex

Thank you so much, man.
It feels great at 176. Not only the height but also my legs. I had really short and ( ) type tibias, after the lengthening, they look really straight and normal. My body looks much more proportionate after LL.

The price of LON with monorails for tibias is about 57.000 TL. But I guess you can bargain for like 10K.
As I know from the diaries in this forum and a friend of mine who lengthened 7 cm on tibias, he usually does Achilles lengthening. I didn't speak with him yet about that but I absolutely don't want it.
My friend who did 7 cm is also completely fine, his Achilles' tendons were surprisingly really good and he didn't have ATL. He had the surgery 1 month before me and walks unaided with a device called AFO on his legs at the moment.

That's so good to hear. Encouraging. Good for you.
I'll end up at 175.5, if God willing I can make it to 7.6 cm, but planning on femurs. I visualize the 175 daily and cannot wait!
Enjoy it man.
It would be cool to see a before and after shot of you
Do you know if he still does internals and if so at what price?
I found his profile page where it lists a range of prices.
http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=592.0
Classical Ilizarov Technique: 30,000 TL
LON: 44,000 TL
Lengthening and then Plating: 44,000 TL
Internal Methods: 150,000 TL
However, the information posted at above link seems to have last been updated in May 2014. Given that you mention you were charged 57,000 for LON, im guessing the prices have increased.
