Quote from: 3inchhope on November 03, 2017, 07:46:42 PMDo you know if he still does internals and if so at what price?
I found his profile page where it lists a range of prices.
http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=592.0
Classical Ilizarov Technique: 30,000 TL
LON: 44,000 TL
Lengthening and then Plating: 44,000 TL
Internal Methods: 150,000 TL
However, the information posted at above link seems to have last been updated in May 2014. Given that you mention you were charged 57,000 for LON, im guessing the prices have increased.
Actually the prices are increased for Turks and decreased for strangers. Because in 2014 1 dolar was approximately 2 Turkish liras. This year 1 dolar has become like 3,90 Turkish liras due to political issues and Erdogan’s behaviour.
Jexus, Tibial LON with Monorails - Dr. Muharrem Inan @ Turkey
I see so it may be more benifit to a foreign due to foreign exchange movements but if it went from 44000 Turkish Lira in 2014 to 57000 turkish lira in 2017 then the price has increased.
So can you confirm if internal methods is still 150000 turkish lira?

If I can reach Dr.Inan I can of course confirm but I'm not in Istanbul right now.
I believe they are around that price.
It may sound weird but I'm not feeling an euphoria.
Maybe it is because I gained a lot of weight and almost lost my 6 packs.
Or maybe it is because I can't smoke. I was a heavy smoker. I feel that this surgery will be completely over for me exactly on the day that I will be allowed to smoke.
I think I've lost my interest in height. I can't feel the thing that made me do this. I can't remember the feeling which depressed me so much before the surgery. Was I obsessed? Could I be happy with that height and that legs? Or did I really need this and should be very happy? Me before 5 months would be so happy to himself at 1.75-76. Am I getting used to my new height and forget what it feels like to be 169-170 with short and slight varus tibias?
I still can't believe I did this surgery.
I was constantly saying that I would but even I wasn't believing myself that much.
How would my life be if I scared the crap just before the surgery while my legs were getting shaved and withdraw from doing this, would I be reading someone's diary and be jealous?
I think I will be really happy after I gain my muscles back and go hang outside and smoke.
Btw it would be fun if this forum had live chat amongst all online members.

I don't have any before photos that show my whole body wish I had taken one before the surgery
But I will share after photos and also X-Rays once I take some.
Hey guys,
Today they've taken my casts off. My legs have become SOOOO THIN they look really ugly. I have a muscular body and super thin lower legs. I look like a chicken. Anyways I had some X-rays taken today look a bit weird because the casts were still on when they took it so check it out.
Btw way I guess sometimes Xray can show the distance a bit wrong. That's why there is a 0.7-0.8 cm discrepancy between my legs on the X-ray. Normally they both should be like 6.3-6.5 but it shows the right one 6.9 and the left one 6.1-6.2.
Today is my 117. day since the first surgery. 3 months and 27 days Please let me know what you think about the bone growth.

Your callus formation is average and normal as I can see.
You don't have a very fast formation rate but not a bad either.
So nothing to worry imo, everything seems good.

Thank you man,
What you said made me feel good.
I will share also my friend's (who did 7cms) Xrays if he lets me.
Do you know why there is a length discrepancy between left one and right one?

It can happen for many reasons. Most of the time some minor nail bending makes lengthening not exactly the same as you rotate the screws between two fixators so this may be the reason.
Maybe even x rays can have some differences compared to reality due to view point. Ct scan is always more accurate.
Anyway still nothing to worry about. The discrepancy is small and it will be fixed before you stop lengthening by lengthening a few days more on the shorter leg when you stop lengthening the longer leg.
