Leg Shortening

Hello , I have been reading some of the posts . I am 5'9" female and absolutely hate being tall ..  have been seriously considering leg shortening surgery but afraid I might look weird afterwards.. afraid of the scars and I also heard your legs can look bulky afterwards.. does anyone have pictures of the results ? Can you share? Thank you guys

 Great info , thank you all ... that is my biggest concern ..to go through surgery and the long recovery, money , time etc etc and my legs look hideous afterwards . I contacted the Ilizarov Institute and they said they would do a two parts surgery ..they would take one inch from my tibia and another surgery done afterwards to remove another inch from the Femur and that way I shouldn't have any deformity .. all of that for two inches ..oh and it should take me at least one year to recover Pretty crazy huh ??
