Hey everybody,

My name is Zayn and I'm an American Pakistani. I am 6'2 and I am looking to reduce my height by about two inches, which is contrary to what you all are going for. I already contacted Dr. Sarin, and he said he has done a limb shortening procedure as well. I contacted the patient who underwent the limb shortening and he gave me so much advice regarding how much I should get cut off. I am only going to get 4.5 cm cut from my femur, but nothing off of my tibia and fibula, because those bones are more difficult to heal in proportion together. So what do you guys think/experienced? How is the healing for femurs after it has been cut? And also, do you guys think that the leg shortening procedure is less dangerous and that its post operation recovery will be better than those of you who are trying to become taller? Because once the legs are shortened, that's it. But when you are trying to become taller, your bones are trying to grow and grow even after surgery, so I can see why limb lengthening would have a lot of complications when it comes to recovery. So how about shortening my thighs? Do you think that recovery would be easier?

I don't think many of us will know anything about limb shortening.  We had an obviously mentally disturbed middle-aged woman come to Beijing and insist she'd grown from 5'4 to 5'7 recently and had to have her legs shortened.  I don't know what happened with her because she got there a few days before I left.  Are you sure YOU aren't mentally disturbed?  You're not some 8 foot tall freak who should want to become shorter.

There's a risk of non-union with limb shortening. Is it really worth the risk for you when you're already the coveted height of many males?

Yes, I've heard about limb shortening; they do that normally in every country (they even do it in my city).
Most of the time it's rather because they had extreme "injury" and there it's better to cut the bone and let new regenerate.

But 187cm is what most of the hollywood stars are, go google them.
It's an amazing height, 185cm is known as the "perfect" height voted by many.

Don't do this to yourself, it's not worth the risk & pain.

I was there when the girl and guy did shortening and I must say that there was absolutely nothing wrong with their height.
It was all in their head.

They once came in to my room and the guy wanted to beat me up. They both told that me and my roomie was fake and immature.
They blamed us that we were spreading rumors that they were having sex(they were brother and sister).
Then they told us they've been bullied all of their life.

I liked their idea of eating raw vegan food, it was very interesting for me but I'm sorry to say that they were both very mentally unstable.

The guy told me I was rude for saying "hello" to him when I saw him walking by.

Right there I knew this guy was retarded.
His sister shouted down the hallway that we should shut up and that we were fking pussies.
I guess they both suffered brain damage from being bullied all of their life. Tragic.

But, the funny thing was that I managed to record EVERYTHING on my phone very well. It went on for 40 minutes where they both make total fool out of them.
I watched the video last week and myself a very good laugh  Limb Reduction

If you're not 7 feet tall then don't do limb shortening. You're only insane and you obviously have to speak to someone professional.

If you're a troll or even one of the Turkish siblings then you now can confirm that you are mentally ill. Since you both live in London, healthcare is free - go seek it.

Lol, Sweden.. Were they Turkish? You should've handed them over to me!

Most people are mentally unstable in this country anyway.. After a while you get used to it. LOL.
