Quote from: SpeedDialer on January 03, 2021, 05:12:01 PMI heard Stryde Parihar in Mumbai is cheaper and might be a good option.

But here is what I've heard:
- be careful what foods you eat in Mumbai to prevent stomach virus
- see if there are any immunizations you can get against stomach virus/malaria/other diseases in Mumbai
- Get a long stay discount to stay at 3 star hotel, the staff there can help you while you are lengthening
- Maybe consider wearing face mask/face shield/gloves even after covid b/c people who haven't lived in India tend to get diseases there more, be careful what you touch
- Its cheaper than Greece by maybe 10k$ or more all things considered
- After covid, make sure to ride in first class if you take the metro in Mumbai (pushing/shoving according to the vid below probably not great for a guy with broken legs)

Tell us how it goes and come back w/ a diary if you go w/ Parihar or Giotikas Need advice for CLL 2021

Hey Speeddialer,

This video is 5 years old and outdated. A lot has changed since then. The advice in this video doesn't make sense at all in 2021.

Quote from: Activatedxx on January 07, 2021, 10:42:33 AMOf course people forget the pain, same reason why I kept getting more tattoos. Every time I tell myself I’ll never put myself through this suffering again and then find myself forgetting why it was so terrible. I think as humans we only can pinpoint how bad something terrible really is why we’re going through it.

I can relate to that.  Forgetting is a very important facilitator of human perseverance and accomplishment.  Wait until you start getting some of those tattoos removed. Need advice for CLL 2021  That is way worse than LL.  You don't know pain unitl you've gotten a giant, saturated rib tat zapped. Need advice for CLL 2021

QuoteBut like can you use a walker to walk short distances? With LON, if you do everything correctly is it a high success rate? I wouldn’t sacrifice money for a method that would cause a bigger failure, but I would rather pay less for something if it is do-able with a high success rate. I could go 70 days without walking I would think, I went slightly over a month. Sure it does suck and affect you mentally, but I was really just fishing to see if anyone who’s done it or has more knowledge on it thinks that it’s a safe method for someone that would have a personal helper with them the duration of the time

You can use a walker for short distances, and a wheelchair for longer ones.  LON has an equal success rate in the end, it's just way less comfortable and convenient while you're doing it.  Your muscles will come back once you start using them again.  Whether this is worth it is subjective and situational to you personally.
