I think you should talk directly with them rather than making a poll which everybody can take part in.

I'm not PMing everyone that's done LL asking them this. Poll only for LL veterans- was it worth it?
I'm just curious anyway, not asking this cause I have doubts.

It is immensely costly in more ways than you can imagine. And even now years later there are still issues to work out.

However, despite all that, I would say its worth it. To not have height be a concern at all anymore, and have tangible results in how I am regarded is quite something that its hard to place a price tag on.

That being said you need to be VERY careful in whether or not you should pursue this.

Im currently doing it

Im struggling mentally watching years and years of gym progress and my physique deteriorating, i lost 23kgs weight to do this then ive lost at least another 5 kgs so far. I was 103kgs naturally and i could lift bigger weights with better form than most pros. Watching my body atrophy is just soul destroying but once this is over il get it back muscle loss is only temporary.

I remind myself why im here, the years and years of mental torture because of my height. I had to bite the bullet and do it even if it meant temporarily giving up my physique and strength for a while.

If i hadnt bit the bullet in have driven myself into psychosis or a nervous breakdown. Being 2-4" taller will make you feel better. I stood on 7.5cm blocks in my garage and the further your head gets away from the floor the better you feel about yourself.

You'll be sorry if you do 7,5cm. Especially if you want to gain heavy muscles again.

For me it was worth it. I was married when I did it and I'm still married today. I have a new job that pays much more, new house and a new car.

It just feels better being taller.

Doing 7.5cms in the femur via internals is quite different from 7.5 on the tibias with externals. I'm (pleasantly)surprised you think it's worth it despite the complications.

Thought he was doing tibias. Sorry.

Well, more than 5-6cm alters the body too much and you'll notice it especially in the gym.

Thought you said that to me lol... but there is supposedly someone doing 9cms on tibias. Poll only for LL veterans- was it worth it?

Can you specify that last sentence?
