When you do quadrilateral surgery, will it be better to do the surgeries 1year apart or 2year apart? I'm talking in terms of the maximum recovery of lower body.
I guess 2yr is sure better but will 1yr already be as good enough as 2yr?

rule of thumb is 45 days per 1cm, with femurs being slightly faster. but you can undergo sequential lengthening that requires doing tibias first and only being able to lengthen 5cm on femur. so you're able to recover much faster but limited to 10cm. but most would rather do 8cm first on femur, recover for 12mo then 5cm on tibs for a total of 13cm. you could start off with tibs but getting that 8cm femur first feels better, and you might be content with 8cm and save money.

it's a generous estimate for lengthening involving no deformities
