Quote from: SpeedDialer on September 03, 2021, 11:13:59 AMWhat is the realistic time frame to do internals of both femur and tibia with Giotikas with precise 2.2? I am trying to do the surgery like September 1st of 2022.

I am trying to figure out when I should do these things in the timeline:

1. online consultation w/ Giotimas

2. In person consultation, how soon does it need to be.

3. Getting bloodwork/tests to make sure I'm ready for surgery.

4. When to start first precise surgery

5. When to start second precise sugery

6. When is the best time to do the hair transplant in Athens

7. When I can reasonably expect to be done with everything and flying back to USA

My budget is like 150k$ ish in USD, I'm just trying to make sure I budget enough time for everything

You can go to ant doc you want to go to. But please at least go to turkey for hair transplant. India is a good option too but top docs charge almost just as much as turkey guys do. So it doesn't make too much of a difference. But I don't see the point of going to Greece for HT and CLL. Why not go to shahab or something? If you want to do it in a budget come to India. Ultra cheap and no you won't get Ebola and cancer here. Just avoid the streets. We don't eat on streets here.

Ah so the issue is this.

1. I don't think Parihar allows patients to do internals back to back. Ex: I don't think he allows someone to do internal tibia, wait a month, then do internal femur. But Giotikas does. So that is one reason to go with Giotikas. Am I mistaken?

2. Shahab too expensive for my budget to do internal femur and tibia

3. Going to Turkey for hair transplant seems like an additional flight ticket, is the cost of that worth it versus Greece? Are Turkey doctors that much better than doctors in Athens, Greece?

For Parihar, do you need to do an in person consultation before the surgery or can you do a virtual one and have your doctor send xrays/blood tests/etc?

I have talked to him. You can do a virtual consultation before the surgery, get the surgery done, but during the lengthening period you must be present. He won't let you go back to your country and send xrays. Idk, but that is what he told me. Send him an email and ask him. [email protected]

Anyone who lets you lengthen that fast is probably not thinking about your health that much. If you end up causing a deformity that is gonna cause a   ton of problems. Not worth the risk. Do it only if someone like Paley or rozburg is doing it. Not some unknown Greece guy.

I'd suggest turkey over Greece. This giotik guy was nowhere to be seen. He just blew up after the interview I think. I couldn't find anything fancy on his resume. I'd suggest buldu over him tbh. At least we have many buldu diaries.

Like I said, go to only Paley or rozburg if you plan on doing it 1 month apart. Not some Greece guy

I think Giotikas is one of the safest and most competitive options. He has good reviews here and he worked for many years in Cambridge and Oxford which are two of the most renowned universities in the UK and the world. Imo he is the only doctor outside the US who can directly compete Paley and Rozbruch on safety and work ethics.

He did? Then he's certainly better than buldu and Parihar.

I don't know about Dr Buldu, but Dr Parihar has almost 20 years of experience over Giotikas in leg lengthening and also had medical training in England in addition to his fellowship with Paley.
