Quote from: KiloKAHN on September 06, 2021, 08:40:06 AMI don't know about Dr Buldu, but Dr Parihar has almost 20 years of experience over Giotikas in leg lengthening and also had medical training in England in addition to his fellowship with Paley.

Still with his prices for a third world country like India is a very important reason for someone in the west to not even think about him compared to Giotikas.

I'm from India. It isn't that bad. There is poor India and rich India. Stay in rich India. Get yourself a good hotel, don't eat on streets, stay indoors. It's not that bad. I'm pretty sure the guys who get virus or fever or something eat out in some poor backward street place. Many whites come and live here without a problem. At least I've seen many in calcutta. Many of them eat things that even we don't eat yet don't seem to have a problem.

But yes Parihar's hospital can be used as the set for the next scary movie part. I've seen the pics. Looks scary.

I am not paid by Parihar or something but in India docs of his field genuinely respect him. At least based on what I have been told. I have a relative that he operated on. Onr leg ssue (idk what it's called). He's not a moneymaking  , that I can guarantee. Idk.

I'd suggest people to avoid buldu. If the great butcher sarin says something is risky that means it legit is risky. He told me he wont allow more than 5 on femur using externals. Yet buldu lengthens 7.5 cm there? I'd now trust sarin over buldu tbh.

Yeah hm that does seem like a pretty good reason to go w/ Parihar. Does he limit femurs to 6 cm? I think he limits tibias to 6 cm, not sure if he limits femur to 7cm. I vaguely remember Giotikas is willing to do 7cm for femur

I got some kind of stomach bug that lasted for a few days. Happened after I ate some ice cream from an outdoor cooler. That was definitely not fun.

Didn't get malaria. Although my doctor made me take some anti-malaria pills starting a week before my flight I think.

Femur(precise) he allows 7.5. He was talking about it. Watch cyborg's interview. 6 is his limit for tibia although he does allow more if things are going well

Kilokhan and anold forum member got malaria I think. Not sure they were in Mumbai though. Uncertain if they went to backward street places

Malaria? It still happens? I thought it used to be a thing back in 1970's. I have never even seen someone getting malaria in my entire life. Is it some immunity that we have or something? Idk.

Thank you!!!! So ice cream and food in general from outdoor coolers are not a good idea to eat in Mumbai? Anything else a foreigner should avoid?

Just avoid the street food and you should be okay. My main issue was getting used to the spices they put in so many things afterward, so sometimes I would order from Dominos.

Thank you!!!

So food from dominoes or other restaurant names an American would recognize are safe? What other restaurants did you think were safe and healthy?
