After internal lengthening, you might have little but visible scars on your hips, knees, side of thighs, shins depending on what you lengthened.

Does anyone have any experience to share about getting them removed with scar removal surgery or laser or similar? Any before / after pictures?

Maderma cream was pretty useless. I went to dermatologist once a month for a year and she used couple of different lasers. My scars has faded and I don't think about them much. Also make sure to stay away from the sun.

Laser removal probably the best choice right now?

Scars will fade away on their own as long as the surgeon did a good job with the incision. The laser will make the process much faster and will speed it up by couple of years.

There is a drug called Verteporfin used to treat eye diseases. It may have the property to provide scarless healing in the future. Dr. Longaker of Stanford University experienced mice and pigs and said it gave excellent results. They are soon trying on humans for cleft palates.
