Its about people stressing too much to look weird after lengthening a lot. But i wouldn't do it too cuz of health reasons. My point was that most people dont have to worry about proportions since theres very little chance to look weird. And i dobt think apotheosis looks weird in the photo. My 6'3 natural friend has the same proportions.

I think people should be more concerned with how they look to themselves

as peaceout said if you hate the way you look every time you look in the mirror you're going to have a bad time

I personally would never do femurs exactly for that reason, I would never mentally get over the fact that my knees were further away from my hands

This is just wrong, I doubt that you have ever seen a LL'er (with 8cm+) standing next to a guy who has the same height naturally. 10 out of 10 times you'd be able to tell who has gotten his limbs lengthened.
Apotheosis looks extremly weird next to a 6'3 guy, he sags his pants and wears oversized shirts and still looks weird. His hands and feet are tiny compared to a 6'3 guy, his shoulders are narrower as well. This guy is basically all legs. I doubt that he can run for longer than just a couple of minutes.

15 cm in some cases is not shocking at all
the problem is the arms

I'll take two comparisons:
The football player Valbuena (1m67)
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e9/Valais_Cup_2013_-_OM-FC_Porto_13-07-2013_-_Mathieu_Valbuena_%C3%A0_l'%C3%A9chauffement.jpg/220px-Valais_Cup_2013_-_OM-FC_Porto_13-07-2013_-_Mathieu_Valbuena_%C3%A0_l'%C3%A9chauffement.jpg
small arms, little legs, it would be shocking if it was 1m75

Verratti (1m65)

It is smaller but yet its proportions make it seem taller

There are very few side by side comparison pictures for limb lengthening. With good reason. I'll leave this here.
