Quote from: GoingForAverge on July 06, 2024, 01:02:32 PMIt would be very helpful if you could tell me in details what is happening with you, as i have a scheduled surgery with d. Becker in a couple of months myself.
Everyone is different with pain tolerance.
Most importantly, there is no complication and get mentally prepared.
All help will be rendered, including the painkillers and muscles relax are given.

I have seen some patients acting like a princess, always complaining of any discomfort, stiffness, pain and soreness.
Some even refused to walk with crutches and need someone to carry around.

This is a surgery and you are pulling the bone daily to get taller and thus a lot of stretching is required.
Do not expect no hard work or no discomfort in the process.

To me it’s very hard. It was 1 month since the surgery. I can only get 1.5cm I  only get 0.5mm per day.Now I have many problems such as I can’t put my legs together when I am lying and stand, I have the duck buttocks and so on. Much pain everyday and can’t sleep. I told the doctor all the situation they said it was normal.

It is hard but don't give up, the duck walk and the legs can't coming together happens to everyone. I went through the same thing, just continue stretch those inner and outer abductors, hams, quads, and glutes as much as possible.

don't want to be rude but

i'm curious where are you from, how was your flexibility before the surgery, did you do any sports in your life?
Because the way you are posting sounds like you are a little girl or something..

And you still didn't tell us, why you cry lol, why you have just 0.5mm per day?
Is it painful to do clicking? or you have low flexibility? what is the exact problem?

I think Dr Becker is a good doctor. He’s kindly and friendly and responsible.
But I also feel bad cause the surgery is too hard and I am lonely helpless in foreign country. It is too different from my left and right legs I am so worried for the problem.

Why even start a diary up if that is the kind of insight you are going to share? Please be more informative about your experience. If you dont know How to, just look at some of the other diaries. Check up How they make the intro etc.
