Hello everyone, I am thinking about doing surgery next month, however, I am not sure whether I should choose external tibia or external femur lengthening.
You can see my current body proportion in the link below .My current height is 162,7 cm in the morning and 162 cm in the evening. My wingspan size is 163-164 cm. And I am thinking about 6,5 cm lengthening. I do appreciate your replies

I think you have long legs compared to your height and long tibias compared to your femurs.
I think femurs would look better. But photos are always deceptive.
Thanks for your reply) i think this picture is a little bit deceptive. Because of my thin body, my legs look longer in the picture but generally it is not as long as shown in the picture. What about going for external femur? I know it is so painful and uncomfortable . But the doctor that I set up surgery has developed his own external device which is very comfortable and compact like dr Bagorov's frame(even more comfortable than it). So what do u think about external femur?

I think you would look better with femurs lengthening as you have them relatively shorter. But do get X-rays to calculate the tibia femur ratio. And I also would not recommend external femurs for the pain and many complications
I will get x-ray before the surgery I would like to do internal femur but I am not financially good enough for internal femur. So there is only one option left for me -- external femur (
External femur is ridiculously dangerous and complication prone (femur muscles are stronger and exert more pressure on the frame). I'm not a doctor though so take what I say with a grain of salt. If you can't afford internal, I would strongly suggest just doing external tibias.
Also, how will you sit on the toilet with external femur frames? Or change clothes? Or even sleep? It seems like it would put your hips in a weird positoin.
Once again, I'm not a doctor so what do I know?
But as far as I know, my doctor has developed his own external device which is like dr. Bagorov's frame. It doesn't have back side and looks small that you can wear even broad trousers

Absolutely,
Get X-rays to calculate them.
For example, my x-ray before the surgery was this:

I guess I had short tibias. I did 6-6,5 cm on tibias and both my legs and my body looks much much better now.
You can't be only 0,7 cm less on the evening compared to your morning height.
Anyone loses at least 1.5cm during the day.
Anyway, from the pics I think you should better do femurs as your tibias seem longer than usual.
But if your budget is tight you can still get away doing tibias without problem.
