Quote from: Dreamer on July 07, 2015, 07:58:09 PMOne of the most self-centred post I have ever read on this forim. Let me ask what is so special about you then? Runaway model, actress and print girl! Why do you need limb lengthening if you think your that special? What happened huh? Do you wish  to be extra extra skinny at 180? Like them thin logs who usually be on the front cover of magazines? Like a twig? Before judging others on how they look like, see the mirror first. Why are you having limb lengthening if you don't have issues with your appearance. I tell you one thing; modelling or showbiz is a sad career. Your looks will fade one day...

As I said, part-time! I am in university now. For crying out loud.  what height would you need to be to not have done LL And one question, why are so many hollywood actors and actresses still so highly paid even though they are in their 30s and 40s. What is their net worth?? At least $5 million, 20 million, 500 million. Get a life! I was rejected for runway sometimes because i was too short. I am only 173, and I got commments about my leg being too short. Too short for certain apparel.

Super girl. All these celebrities don't care about their height. Most of them lie about their height. Look at Tom Cruise at 5'6, Brad Pitt at 5'10 or Emilla Clarke at 5'2. I do have a life which I am very happy withh (apart from height). All I am saying you should be a bit more sensitive they way you express yourself. Don't take my words harshly

Quote from: supergirl on July 07, 2015, 05:37:25 PM I am sure some users here who are 180+ CM are lacking in other departments (eg, looks, money) and think that height is the issue, but it is not............ Above that height, height takes a backseat.

i doubt that any 180+ guy thinks there height is an issue for women..  i was 181 before and if i was fat slob, i wouldnt think that doing this would automatically make be able to be god with women.. im not sure y u pointed the finger at 180+ guys anyway.. all the people that have talked themselves up about how handsome and crap they are well below average height before surgery..

by the way if ur a runway model arent u worried about having scars??

175 cm also known as 5'9". Just thinking that my height is below that makes me so angry and disgusted.

171 cm, 5'7.5. If I do LL, I'll probably aim for 173cm, around 6.5cm.

5'8 definitely would not even feel short based on my geographic location, 5'7 I will probably not consider LL either, maybe.

Quote from: Del on July 06, 2015, 03:38:30 AMOn one hand I wonder why a 5'9.5 guy would do this to him. That isn't a short height in any country, unless all your friends are basketball players.

Hey I’m 1/2 a centimeter below 5’9.5 and I’m doing this because my older brother was physically and emotionally  abusive to me my whole life. He is 6’2 and on top of that my parents and family always praised him for his height, something he never earned. My mom always teased my dad about his height (same as mine) and both parents would say things like “ why aren’t you as tall as your friends?” I live in a very rich white area in the US and wouldn’t be surprised if the average height was an inch or two taller.

I don’t need to be the same height or taller than my brother I just want to be 6ft or taller. Just to be clear I’m not doing this for my parents or to do some dumb   like beat up my older brother. I’m doing this for me and my own happiness!

I'm 172cm tall and if it wasn't for the fact that almost everyone I pass on the street, even older people are taller than me, I wouldn't decide to have surgery. That's why I would like to have this 5cm more to be just average.
