1) yes there is a proportion between sleep and gh but I guess this does not cause serious height loss
2) When parents are short, children are short, but sometimes parents are short, even if they are short. I saw 168 mom Father 169 boy claim 183

There is a proven strong relationship between puberty and height. Entering late puberty is always prolonged because the epiphyseal plates then close. but you're still glorious 176 so good

Someone entering late teens will be above target height. If everything is fine for the person, there will be an increase in height each year before entering puberty and there will be a jump in puberty.
