Or to increase the chance of breaking the nails. Will this ever be an easy surgery?

Well that's the point of having full weight bearing nails, so they don't break from you simply walking around.

I've read even Stryde has it's limitations so ideally something better than Stryde even.

Bone lengthening is a third-grade operation

There are usually four levels of surgery.

First-level surgery: all kinds of operations with low technical difficulty, simple operation procedure and low risk.

Secondary surgery: all kinds of operations with general technical difficulty, uncomplicated operation process and medium risk.

Third-level surgery: a variety of operations with greater technical difficulty, more complex surgical process and greater risk.

Level 4 surgery: all kinds of surgery with great technical difficulty, complex operation process and high risk.

Inverted jaw correction  It's a level 4 procedure, more threatening than bone lengthening.

As there is not a gene therapy or something like that to become taller and you still need to break your bones, this operation will never get easy.

That said, if someone is determined to become taller and change his life, LL is not that hard.
I did externals with monorails, I wasn't walking at all for 3-4 months, I did atl and another shortening surgery to fix that crap that my first doctor did with my tendons and still I would easily have done all these again if somehow I would lost my added height.

LL is not a boobjob but still is not that hard compared to how lifechanging it is.
At least for me.

Do you guys think this will ever be an easy or easier surgery? Maybe Stryde will come back at 1/3rd of the price and be 5 times better. Or maybe that prolixo nail will be released and turn LL into a routine surgery.

probly 30years from now they'll figure it out how to make this surgery even less invasive with smaller and stronger nail. Being short for like is a big fk NO for me so whatever it takes

@Perfectbody said it best, any diary that doesn't constantly mention how excruciatingly painful this surgery is, is a fake diary...
