After being moved from the operating theater to a general room, the I felt a manageable pain thanks to the IV medication. Sleeping was a challenge since bending was impossible, but they managed to rest.

The next day, the doctor visited to check the foot’s movement and pain levels. He explained the surgery’s details, revealing to me that bones were unusually soft and hollow. This discovery made the procedure delicate and required extreme caution.

As the doctors carefully inserted the nail, it slid in with surprising ease due to the bone’s softness. The medical team was amazed at how smoothly the operation went. Despite the challenges, the I was  grateful for the skilled hands that had made it possible.

After the surgery, I had to stayed in the hospital for five days for monitoring. To passed the time, I watched my favorite series, which helped distract me from the discomfort. The pain was manageable with painkillers, but the fixator on my leg made movement difficult. So I everytime called and asked helped to nurses.

hospital food was surprisingly good, and they even provided fruit juice and other necessary items. The nurses were incredibly supportive and helpful, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand.
Despite the challenges, I felt grateful for the professional and compassionate care I received. Each day, and thankful to knowing that I was in good hands. Finally 4 days passed in a good hope and now Dr suggested that I can be  discharged and go to rehab for further recovery .

The day had finally arrived. The discharge papers were ready, neatly placed on the bedside table. Excitement bubbled within as the thought of leaving the hospital
It was a significant step towards recovery and a new chapter in life.

An knock on the door announced the arrival of the care team. A caretaker and physiotherapist entered the room. They introduced themselves and explained the plan for the day, ensuring everything was clear and comforting.
