Quote from: HobbitMan on June 30, 2021, 11:38:23 PMMe too bro, it’s a bit of a hassle.  I only hope that after limb lengthening it no longer drags on the ground, sidewalk chafing is really painful.  After +8cm femurs I’m hoping to be able to tuck the tip into one of my shoes comfortably.

 Anyone here attractive before surgery?

LMFAO 😂 🤣😂🤣

Maybe.  Other than my body (which is entirely in my control… I just need to keep working out again once I’m able to in a few months) it’s the only thing I’m insecure about.  I think if I were insecure about my face, I’d have too many insecurities to functionally normally.  But it’s also possible to be secure and “non ideal”.  Tons of people shorter than me are confident about their height, and tons of people taller than I will be after surgery are insecure about being 6’1 or 6’2 instead of 6’4 like actor so and so, or like a family member / friend.  Just look at Dwayne Johnson.  Dude is 6’2” but claims something ridiculous like 6’5”.  He’s huge, good looking, and very tall and even he’s insecure enough about his height to add nearly 3 inches…

He probably exaggerates his height because he doesn’t have the “hassle” that you, PerfectBody and others all have to deal with…😆

Lol I know someone who's 6'5" and claims to be 6'8". I actually believed it before but I saw him again after lengthening and there's no way he's over 2 meters tall.

At that height not many people can really challenge him, besides — most 6’ barefoot people get told they’re “much taller than that” all the time.  A friend of mine from Europe is 184 flat (similar to what I’ll be soon) and he told people in the US he was 6’ when asked.  Everyone usually said “there’s no way, I’m 6’ you must be 6’3” or “my boyfriend is shorter than you and he’s 6’, did you measure correctly?”.  I almost universally take 1-2 inches off the height most people claim.  One person I was taller than before surgery even had the audacity to say he was “six foot”.  Like dude, I’m 5’9, what do you think I’m claiming?

No wonder it’s so easy to get height neurosis these days.

Edit:  see this article, https://www.menshealth.com/trending-news/a19541675/all-guys-lie-about-height/

Quote Most of the men who failed the "Men's Health Challenge"—because all did—wouldn't admit to any deception. Brian H., who refused to allow us to publish his last name, insisted for more than two minutes that our scale's ruler was off. (It wasn't.)

"I know it's not accurate because I was at my doctor's yesterday and measured 5-7-and-a-half," said the irate man, who stood 5-5 although his license claimed 5-8.

"Also, the sidewalk you're standing on is sloping," he added. "You're not even on flat ground!"
Anyone here attractive before surgery? I’ll have a daytime height of 184cm after surgery.  Maybe I should think about claiming 6’2”.

Most people overestimate their height by 1 or 2 inches. But someone who is already super tall like 6’5 claiming 6’8 doesn’t make sense when your already very very tall

Yeah it’s very common for people too claim 1-2 inches taller than they are. I most commonly see 5’8 guys claiming 5’10, 5’10 guys claiming 6 foot and 6’0 guys claiming 6’2.

Yeah, he's not like a basketball player or anything, just a tall guy in the office. But he tells everyone he is 6'8".

Anyone called himself attractive on this forum is bull . He is a cope. And having mental break down.otherwise post ur pics (no one will because they are ugly and will brag about  "privacy"

First off how mental and insecure for you to find this forum, if you are considered attractive to the point where ("I only date model bro") you wouldn't considered risking your life and spending a grand just for you to be "few inch" taller. Why do you need to be taller? Because you are mentally insecure and not attractive.

Stop called yourself attractive lmao, if you are 170 with good face you gonna slay.

Your inability to formulate a sentence tells a lot about your intellect(or lack of).
Even the most handsomest of men have insecurities.

Also, the notion that everyone does limb lengthening in order to attract more of the opposite sxx is idiotic. While it may help in the dating world, it guarantees Nothing.

If you ain’t had it before this may slightly help? But if you did have it then limb lengthening improves on that.

Lol just because you can already sleep with a lot of girls or maybe even a lot of attractive girls at 170cm doesn't mean that it doesn't become easier after you become taller.

At least this is what I believed going in, but honestly given how long it takes to recover from the surgery I don't think it's worth it unless:
1) You did it at the start of the pandemic.
2) You're young enough that a few years wasted isn't that big of a deal. (Like say you are building up your career and not spending too much time enjoying life anyway)

Once you're off walking aids you still walk like a cripple. Once you have a normal walking gait you still have to wait for consolidation to run lift things without risking your nails breaking. Also, there are visible scars all over your legs for a long time. Once these scars heal, you need to get the nails removed and open up the scars all over again.

By the time you fully recover from the surgery, can run and be athletic, and are "normal" again, you could have hooked up with tons of girls as a normal short man. I think dropping $80K on the surgery is not a big deal if you can recover fast, but wasting years of your life dealing with the aftereffects of lengthening is sooo not worth it.
