Dr. Donghoon Lee has just moved into a brand new state of the art hospital. Dr. Donghoon Lee has chosen the name Donghoon Advanced Limb Lengthening Reconstruction Institute in honor of his teacher Dr. Paley. The facilities look quite impressive on his new updated website.

Now for the not so good news about STRYDE. Read the email below.
The video below is in English with interviews from Dr. Rozbruch & Dr. Paley among others giving praise to Dr. Donghoon Lee.
Dr Donghoon Lee (Seoul, South Korea) Severance Hospital 2015 Update
I don't know why there are not enough Dr. Donghoon diaries on the forum.
Pros:
1. He has very good experience with doing limb lengthening (cosmetic as well) using Precice
2. He offers an all inclusive package. You don't have to worry about stay, getting around, PT, food, emergency situations, etc. You are in a hospital even while lengthening.
3. South Korea is a developed country, (since many have reservations about going to India, Vietnam, etc)
Cons:
1. Language barrier. People don't speak English well. I doubt even Dr. Donghoon himself speaks much English. I haven't found a video of him speaking English.
2. South Korea might not be a liberal place like US and there is discrimination (not that this would affect an LL patient much).
3. Very few diaries on the forum
Dr. Donghoon Lee just opened a brand new medical center. The name is Donghoon Advanced Lengthening Reconstruction Institute (DALRI) in honor of his teacher Dr. Paley.
Website: https://drdonghoon.com/?lang=en
YouTube Channel: https://bit.ly/2TiVs8P The YouTube Channel has hundreds of videos. Including post lengthening patient exercises, patient inteviews, fellow surgeon interviews, new facilities, etc...
The good news is that STRYDE might be available sooner than expected. Top executives from NuVasive just took a trip to Seoul.
International patients are provided with the option to stay in the new medical center for the duration of their lengthening (90-120 days). Patients are provided with food, accommodation, medication, physical therapy, transportation to & from airport, etc... A full concierge service.

This center will be the first to offer Stryde nail in Asia!

Cons:
4. Unfortunately, The high cost of having CLL with Dr. Lee. I do not know what he currently charges, however, even before he opened his new center his prices were only slightly below those in the West. While I agree that Dr. Lee appears to be an excellent and highly skilled surgeon, the high cost of having surgery with him is prohibitive for probably 90-95% of people looking to have CLL...

Prices above are only for the remainder of 2018. Prices for 2019 will be available soon, along with updated information on the potential availability of Stryde.

10 out of 15 future LLers who Ive known are planning to go to Dr Lee
I think lot more people are actually interested in expensive but safer options than before
It’s because even if get it done cheaply, with complications and longer downtime, it will end up more expensive than safer options

Above are the prices for 2019, along with interviews about Dr. Donghoon Lee from Dr. Paley & Dr. Rozbruch. Stryde availability in South Korea is still uncertain, the goal is a date for later this year.

You can find many diaries with him in the old forum.
You can see many of his patients on his youtube channel.
I think he is the 3rd best doctor in the world with internal methods.
