I’ve been having trouble about my height since I was a little child. However, right now I like to think that most of it is in the past. I would like to clarify that currently I’m 16 and 5’4. Hopefully and probably I’ll be 5’5. Sometimes I wonder if I’m too short to be average pretty, mainly because my brother (who unfortunately is 6’3-4) is making fun of me because of my height, making jokes about me being shorter than my mom, but I don’t see so much difference, since she’s 166 cm tall. I hate the way he laughs right in front of me, however I’m trying not to get upset.

I would also like to say that women don’t really care about height, as an example, my sister is definitely one of the prettiest women I’ve seen (167 cm) and she loves short men. I promise being a short guy won’t make you less attractive. Be safe y’all. Xoxo

Sorry I'm confused. Are you boy or girl? 5'4 is average height for American female.

Your brother is teasing and doesn’t actually mean any harm. You’re perfectly average height for an adult woman and will likely grow another inch or so if CDC growth charts are to be believed.

As for male height mattering, it does matter fit attractiveness. However, it’s not the most important trait, as face, hair, frame, race, etc. matter more. And there are some women who legitimately don’t care at all.

The problem is your brother being too tall not you being too short. 5'4 is not short at all according to the America's newest data about average height and you just reach the average line.
Doing LL won't necessarily cease your brother's making fun of you. Maybe after he knows that you do this surgery he will still poke funs at you in addition to the fact that you do such so-called riskful surgery just to avoid his teasing.

I don't know if this is a troll post. 5'4 is completely acceptable for a girl.

Have you ever told your brother to stop laughing at your height? Since you feel short mainly because of him, you will probably feel a lot better if he changes his attitude.

I don't know where you live, but 5'4" is average in many places for girls and to be honest, it doesn't matter anyway.
About your brother, you should speak to your parents, that's a very bad behavior from his side.

My mother is 90-95% of the reason I’m getting the surgery, so I can understand her position.
