Since I had no problem sleeping with frames I want to share how I managed that. Of course infections or other complications can influence your sleep but the frames themselves are not the issue.

What I needed:
---- 1-2 folded blankets ---
 soft, puffy ones that you put underneath your tibias, the one that is on top has to have an even material so that when I moved my legs I didn't get stuck

---2 different small sized pillows ---
when you are able to sleep on your side put the one that fits best to you between your knees underneath that knee whose inside faces the bed (I'll post a picture sometime later)

Hope it helps someone. If someone had a good sleep with frames but did something else, you can share your advice

I use this "setting" after LATN surgery aswell.

This is how my bed looks like and the reason why I sleep well:
