I had the Stryde nail procedure 6 months ago, and I've gained about 5.5cm so far. The process was tough, especially during the first 2 weeks, but the pain was manageable. My doctor said the total cost, including hospital stay and physiotherapy, was around $30,000-$40,000. I'm happy with the results, but I have to say, the rehab process is still ongoing.

@curious_cat, my rehab process is still ongoing, but I'd say I've made significant progress in the past 3 months. I'm able to walk without crutches now, but I still experience some pain and stiffness in the mornings. My doctor says it's normal and that it will take time for my bone to fully heal.
