Hey everybody,

"If money isn't an issue"

Would doing like 3 cm femurs and 3cm tibias make someone recover 95% of athleticism?

I would like to hear from people who actually did it.

Also, do you think doing only tibias for 5-6cm is a good decision. (I can't do only femurs as I need to fix bowlegs and lengthen tibias at the same time)

Thanks

I swear you guys become bigger pussies each day. By 2025 we'll have people advocating for 2cm lengthening being "safe".

Not interested in anyones justifications for being a wuss, tell it to someone who cares.

I think you should try doing 0.5 cm on tibias and 0.5 cm on femurs. That way you won't lose your athleticism at all.

I have a better option, do not do it nothing, doing zero cm in each segment you will be safe and short.

It depends. If i were 5'7 and my goal was 5'9 i would easily do 4 cm on femurs and 2.5 on tibs in an ideal world for bio mechanics, proportions, safe limits etc. I f money isnt an issue. If you dont know what you want i would see a therapist to see if they can help you figure out if this is something you even want to do. Once youre in it, its not something you can get out of. This isnt an easy procedure either. Its very individual to each patient in terms of pain tolerance, flexibility, mental health, all these are things you must consider cause one of these 3 will impact you pretty hard. Worse thing you can do is get the surgery and then realize you didnt want it as bad as you thought tbh cause this will test your patience in the worse way.

If you're 5ft 7 you need a lot more than 2 inches if you're going through 2 surgeries. 5ft 9 isn't close to where height benefits are maxed, you really might as well push it to 5ft 11 at least from 2 surgeries.
