Go for 5.5cm femur and 4cm tibia, safe limit and worth the hassle of 2 surgeries, time, pain etc. yes ppl recover 98% and some to full level if disciplined, there are a few examples out there. Otherwise do 6cm in femur & just do 1 surgery. Met a guy who did 6cm precise femur 2 years ago & now he can jump, sprint, burpees etc. stay ahead of your game with PT sessions and exercise and you’ll be fine. Remember 2 surgeries is 2 operations it’s not just abt money.
Is doing minimal lengthening in both segments a wise decision?
Quote from: Legs890 on August 14, 2023, 11:24:08 PMIf you're 5ft 7 you need a lot more than 2 inches if you're going through 2 surgeries. 5ft 9 isn't close to where height benefits are maxed, you really might as well push it to 5ft 11 at least from 2 surgeries.
True, two surgeries mean you gotta get a minimum of 2 inches each segment otherwise just do one for two inches. I think 5'9 is a good height in the U.S, you're 50 percent taller than all males and 90 percent taller than females. It is a height where I have no complaints being at.

Meh.. 5'9 is s good height... might not be perfect but you are no longer having the negative of shortness. It is a neutral height

If I'm committing to 2 surgeries and starting at 5ft 7 I want a damn lot more than being still an inch or so below average. I mean it's super easy to do 5cm+5cm and become 5ft 11 in this scenario, there's no good reason not to.
If OP is happy with being 5ft 9, just get it done in one surgery then, it's only 5cm. fking around with 2 surgeries to 'preserve muh athleticism' is ridiculous especially when the lengthening goal is modest to begin with.

"If money isn't an issue"
Would doing like 3 cm femurs and 3cm tibias make someone recover 95% of athleticism?
I would like to hear from people who actually did it.
Also, do you think doing only tibias for 5-6cm is a good decision. (I can't do only femurs as I need to fix bowlegs and lengthen tibias at the same time)
Thanks
going back if i were to only do less like that i probaly wouldnt do it at all
If u want to recover 95% of ur athleticism, then don't do it.
Clearly u care about your athleticism more than ur height.
