Try uploading your picture via:

http://postimage.org/

Click browse to find your image on your computer. Then under "resize", select "do not resize my image". Then upload it. Once it's uploaded, give us the link to the page.

Not sure about maximum amount you can shorten.

You look normal from the pictures. One risk I see with limb shortening is that even a lot of the famous and very experienced orthopedic surgeons have never shortened a limb in their careers as there's very rarely a case where you'd want to shorten a limb. I've spoken to a few and some have never done shortening before, and some don't recommend it because it's very hard to recover your strength and the rehab time is supposed to be very extensive.

You should e-mail some orthopedic surgeons to discuss the risks associated with limb shortening. I'd start with Dr Dror Paley: http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=57.0

I also find your legs nice, like musicmaker, but I understand your concerns. You're too tall even for tall men... Anyway, I'm not sure about leg shortening because of scars and possible stumpiness

I agree with musicmaker as well. You have very beautiful long straight legs - There are lots of beautiful tall girls with attractive long straight legs around the world.

Forget surgery.

Try to become a fitness model instead. You'll be very much appreciated.

thank you!! greatheight- you part of the reason why i want surgery in the first place this idea that i am to tall for a boy friend! i mean its got nothing to do with my personality, what i like or don't like but the majority of people look at me and think no way to tall. Even though they don't know me, i mean how is that fair? i would never not go out with a guy shorter than me just because of height. on one hand you say don't get surgery but on the other hand you say thats to tall. One day i hope i will be able to accept my height and be happy and prove this idea wrong with or without surgery

have you tried removing the mid sole from your shoe so you lose a cm of height in shoes.

sadly if you do this you will feel the ground alot with your feet, but you will be 1cm shorter, or rather you wont gain the cm that everyone else has when they put on shoes.

also are you really 183cm, you should buy a stadiometer and check your height accurately, I am just skeptical because that would put you in the 99.9th percentile
