Agreed. I just don’t understand the mindset of not caring or going around telling everyone you had the surgery done. At the end of the day people can think what they want but I am in no way openly telling people I had this done. That is not a smart thing to do socially.

If you wanna understand the stigma associated with this, just read comments about it on Reddit and Youtube. On Youtube, not LL focused channels but sometimes they make documentaries and stuff about LL. Read the comments on those. Most people think recovery is impossible.

So in a way if you are highly athletic after doing LL most people will not suspect anything because according to them doing LL = crippled, can't walk properly, can't run, can't lift heavy weights. Do an internal method with low scarring, do moderate amounts 10-15% of bone length, work extremely hard and reach your full physical recovery potential and become more fit than the average Joe who eats fast food. Most people won't even think you had something like this done. Even if you tell them they will think you are joking.
