Quote from: sunlightwolf on May 13, 2022, 06:26:28 AMHi Fishing,

I am planning to do LL at Paley too but I am still very early in the process. I feel like my communication with his assistant is not very helpful and i made a post specifically about this. I would really appreciate it if you could advise me on this situation?

This is the link to my post:

Thank you

Never mind this, they have sent me what I needed to know.

I have something else to ask you, how long was the time period between the consultation and the surgery?

as short as a day or as long as you like, depends on surgery availability

Some questions here:
How do you feel about your new height?
Did you notice that people treated you differently?
How would you rate your % recovery now and how much do you expect to get in the future?

how did you deal with inflammation and pain during the distraction phase? Every day it's some new kind of pain or problem.

I feel amazing about my new height, that looming cloud of being short is all gone. I went from just under 5 6 to just under 5 9. Yes people absolutely treat you differently, especially women. I would rate my recovery at about 40% of my previous athleticism, and I think I would probably reach 60 - 70% if everything goes right. I also think I've had a really good recovery so at least in my opinion right now getting anywhere close to 100% is just completely out of question. It's up to you to decide if that's worth it to you.

I just delt with it, you can use heat packs, light painkillers, try to distract yourself. I also slowed down to 0.75 which literally changed the entire game, made things so much easier but it just takes some more time

Hi, I hope you are getting fine continuously!
Just wanted to ask if the doctor or you have discussed the hypothesis of lenghtening 0,5mm or 0,66m per day.
I ask because many do that with good results and one of my prospective doctors in principle does it usually (without being a fixed rule, of course).
Good luke and best wishes!

Hey man. Care to share how exactly people treat you differently? And how is the difference with women considering you went from 166 to 173

When did you start standing on a walker? Was it after the consolidation or before the consolidation?
