One of my friend i just contact him after long time. He was shot by gun in he's femur so the bone was crushed he did 3 surgery in different countries but wasn't good the last on they add bone from his hip but the its  broke again and the nail also broken and its short like 2 cm so i contact Dr sarin he said will make it .to take of his broken nail than use the HLN nail to fix and lengthening his femur. .....my friend doesn't know that he can lengthening after fix it till i told him about Dr  sarin ..i Just wanted to help him because a lot of people they don't have any idea about lengthening. .

In my experience with lengthening because I already did my tibia and my femurs i would say about the Muscles Recovery of the femurs its much faster than the tibia means i can say you can bend the leg like normal 100%
But muscle of the tibia its hard so its not stretch easily its been like 4 years since i got my tibia done but till now my foot doesn't go more than 90 degree.so it goes  just little more than 90 . Means if i stand and i wanna bend my leg set i cant  and all what i lengthening for my  tibia 6.3cm
