Short guys who escaped the "short guy" look by working out

Obviously all these guys are on steroids.

Jeff Nippard, 5'5:



His legs look short but with LL he would look 100% fine at 5'8.

Franco Columbu, 5'5:



He honestly looks really tall and impressive, I genuinely have a hard time fathoming anyone can look this good at 5'5.

Zac Efron, 5'8:



He looked absolutely tiny before taking steroids, I mean his proportions look more like a 5'6 guy than a 5'8 dude, and now after running his cycle he looks like he could probably be 5'10.

I don't think working on anything but your shoulders (and maintaining a lean waist) really helps with looking taller. It could be just me and everyone else might see it differently, but I thought Efron, specially, started to look shorter after getting ripped.

Efron is a true 5'8 to me. It'd seem more accurate if the US used centimeters (because 5'8 until 5'9 is a range).

I still don't understand how shorter guys are supposed to look less wide and broad - compared to their entire body - than taller guys. Like, a shorter guy is supposed to have more narrow shoulders in comparison to his body length than a taller guy, or what? That doesn't make any sense to me.

They're supposed to have smaller torsos. Not all short guys have narrow shoulders. The main thing is that tall guys with wide shoulders generally have wider shoulders than shorter guys who also have genetically broad shoulders. It just seems to come with the height. However, there are also a ton of taller guys with narrower shoulders (ectomorphs).
