Should I stop at 6cm? Or continue to 7?
Nope
Quote from: Confidence on August 12, 2023, 07:26:28 AMDon't listen to this guy. 7cm is achievable on tibias. Donghoon Lee and Marie Gdalevitch both allow for that much length.
Yeah it is achievable but it would take around 5-6 months to get 7cm without getting a drop foot.
Stop at 6.
Whether you can reach up to 7cm depends on the degree of ballerina foot and bone formation.
Therefore, you must consult with your doctor.
If you want to consult here, you need to declare the degree of ballerina foot and provide X-ray images.
Every single decent experienced surgeon recommends to do MAX 6 on tibias and some say 4,5-5 is the maximum then the complication rate starts to shoot up by the extreme. Doing tibias over femurs is so stupid. Takes longer to heal, bigger risk of arthisis and joint problems, less gained height, bigger complication risk etc...

What do you mean less height gained?
That guy talking out of his butt like he has done LL. Almost every patient there doing LL say that femur is far more painful, even on internals. Tibias is the way to go for more tolerable lengthening.
