I have a hunch East Asian countries are catching up. I spent a month in Japan and most guys I’ve seen  are 5’6-5’11. Chinese and Korean are on the tallest side among Asians. Japanese also catching up. The average height for Japanese males, I recall, were around 5'6 to 5'7 last century. But we are seeing lots of Japanese young adults approaching 5'10 or 6 foot nowadays. Good nutrition is the reason. I remember seeing a YouTube video about a Japanese man going abroad for the LL, his surgery was successful and he walked again!!!
