In the Western world, in your opinion, do you think heightism still exists when people trying to find a decent job? I mean is heightism very common when that happens? Do bosses prefer taller men and women?

I dunno but it's overseas Chineses' common sense that there is less chance that short men can be exposed to heightisms in Western world but more chance in East Asian,especially China and South Korea,and the latter is the criminal logging their screwed up ideologies that only being tall can guarantee you top tier everything,including women,reputations,occupations and fortunes into our country.

It really depends on the job. For client-facing roles, face and height will always matter. For IT and backoffice roles, I really don't think it matters.

Being tall probably doesn't guarantee women, occupation and fortune lol. China's top rich list is full of short men. I would say that money matters much more to women, especially as they age. Height and face matters much more to younger women.

I'd prefer to say either money or reputations are not relevant to your
height and once I was introduced a 140cm+ tall Anti-Jap War veteran
who at the beginning of enrollment into the Red Army was refused out
of it cuz of his height but fortunately he was picked out as one soldier by
a CCTV programme.But nobody dare condescend upon him cuz of his
height and he has got several war meritorious medals hanging down
