Quote from: ForcedPuberty on January 19, 2015, 02:43:13 PMhe kept stating for the longest time it was completely safe when he first arrived and that he intended and stated he was going to do 20cm.

he only changed his opinion after I argued black and blue with him and kept insisting how crazy 20cm was.

as for why he keeps the possibility open. who really knows.

my guess would be a lot of people fantasize about things and I would not be surprised if he does over lengthen if he ever gets surgery. it could also be his way of reassuring himself that he will recover 100% at 15cm if he thinks 20cm can be easily recovered if the person is dedicated with PT. people find solace in self reassurance that what they are choosing to do will turn out fine.

my statement to rothbard has and always will be the same. stop leading newcomers to hell, if you think 20cm is safe then write a diary and prove it with your own legs, but as long as there is no diary I will always be there to say that 20cm is crazy so that all the newbs don't have bad guidance and hurt themselves. people stating crazy things like 20cm is easy if your dedicated and is safe, can hurt others.

if readrothbard wants to hurt himself I don't care. but im not going to let him delude others with foolish notions of grandiose heights and goals which will lead others to ruin. so many people have been crippled or hurt doing so much less than 20cm.

if it is weird to insist that 20cm is crazy or to list facts then I am guilty.
its funny how people are so out of touch with reality that they despise truth over Etiquette.
people will ignore facts if trey find Etiquette offensive, even going so far as to disbelieve said facts because of this non adherence to Etiquette.

I knew this was GROWtallORdieTRYING's new account!

Quote from: Uppland on January 19, 2015, 05:26:05 AMReadrotbard I like you and you mostly post respectable stuff but Forcedpuberty is right about the bias on here to tell each other what we want to hear. He's a bit rude about it sure but the fact of the matter is that in the vast amount of cases cosmetically lengthening 20CM is not advisable nor safe. You will survive and you will probably walk again but that's about it. I remember a user on this forum posted just about a week ago that he did 17CM in total and couldn't run anymore -he literally lost the ability to run said he just couldn't anymore.

We all want to gain 15CM+ but even if your proportions could handle it it is highly unlikely that your body could.

The doctors who designed fitbone put a cap on 8cm femur 6cm tibs. I would like to think that is the standard norm. I dont see 14cm being an unnecessary risk.

Doctors like the 5 and 5 because there is virtually no way they could face a lawsuit with this kind of low stress. They are being prudent.

I dont understand 10cm but hey, what if some guy has miniature legs and a large torso? I guess he could do it but he would probably have to go at .5mm a day after he crossed the 5cm mark. The extra time might allow the nerves, tendons and muscle groups a chance to catch up.

Why not? He's just willing to do what's possible. After all, we are different biologically.

My legs are really short with a large torso, but I am still not doing 20 cm total. I'm sticking to 7 cm tibias and 8 cm femurs.

Not bad at all.

Yep, it should be more than enough to put me past 6'0. With that height of 184-185 cm, I should stand at around 6'2 with shoes on.

185cm is incredibly sweet. here also considering you lift, you won't look disproportionated.

I don't have a long torso and its hard to me to get bulk (although i try to lift constantly) so i think i'll go for 175cm/5.9''. Not as sweet as going beyond 6.0'', but i guess enough to make height not being a problem anymore

5'9 should be good. 5'10 would be even better, though.

Hey you guys think an wingspan 5 to 6cm shorter than your height would really stand out? I personally don't think so but think you all would know better
