Let's say you do internal femur and internal tibias with Precise 2.2 with Giotikas. You stay in Greece for some amount of time to do this (?how many months? 8 months total?)?
You want to do a hair transplant while you are in Athens, Greece because it seems like it will cheaper to do it in Athens, Greece than in USA (I'm a USA citizen)
1. Medically speaking, what time in those 8 months (or w/e time frame) should you do the hair transplant surgery? Ex: too difficult to do it early on/should you do it right before you are fully recovered?
2. How would you get the bloodwork/lab tests for hair transplant done if you were in Athens, Greece? The problem is that some hair transplant doctors requires the bloodwork/lab tests to be done within 1 month of the surgery, meaning I can't use my USA health insurance to cover the costs.
3. Unless I do the hair transplant within like a month of coming to Greece, but is that a ty idea from the standpoint of too much stress on your body at one time?
4. Is this a ty idea/what alternatives would you consider? I could do a hair transplant after in my hometown in USA but I imagine it would cost more
Questions for people who did LL / hair transplant /Giotikas
So you're short and bald?
Giotikas advises you stay for at least 3 months or until lengthening ends. That's when complications occur, and you'll be able to master your physio routine.
Hair transplant in Greece is about half the price of US, around 2-5k Euro depending on how much grafting you need. You can do it as soon as you're off Xeralto (blood thinner), which is 2 weeks after surgery.
There are very few generic insurance policies that will cover LL or hair transplants, especially overseas. 3 months is enough to get both done.
Thanks!!! What were your experiences in Greece like?
If you do a hair transplant, keep the following things in mind:
- the implanted hair is thicker, if you implant it near a place where hair is thin, or is becoming thin, it can become a visible contrast i n a few years
- hair transplantation is best done only at the front top (not at the sides, not at the intersection from top to side or at the back) The amount of grafts you can use is just enough to cover that part properly without taking out too much hair
- the implanted grafts are being inserted perpendicularly (90° to the surface), and because the hair is thick and firm, you can not comb that hair to make it flat at all
- give the grafts about 3 weeks to heal before doing something like LL
- the final result of the hair transplantation takes about a year to fully show, until then the hair falls out of the grafts somewhat often before it grows and stays firmly like normal hair. During that time people will see for a few months that you had a hair transplantation done
I heard hair transplant is temporarily effective and baldness is essentially incurable.

Ah. What are your options for that hair then? Have to pomade or hair gel it down if its on the sides/temples?

What are your thoughts on the hair transplant doctors in Athens, Greece / which to go with?

I would just choose the spots where your hair naturally grows to the upside and avoid the sides altogether. You can at least get a nice front style, better than not even having that going for you.
What is the realistic time frame to do internals of both femur and tibia with Giotikas with precise 2.2? I am trying to do the surgery like September 1st of 2022.
I am trying to figure out when I should do these things in the timeline:
1. online consultation w/ Giotimas
2. In person consultation, how soon does it need to be.
3. Getting bloodwork/tests to make sure I'm ready for surgery.
4. When to start first precise surgery
5. When to start second precise sugery
6. When is the best time to do the hair transplant in Athens
7. When I can reasonably expect to be done with everything and flying back to USA
My budget is like 150k$ ish in USD, I'm just trying to make sure I budget enough time for everything

Much more complex than that. Hair follicle sensitivity can not be predicted. It is genetic. Someone might lose 30% of all his hair between the ages 15 and 18. But, after that may be stable till the age 50. Then suddenly lose 50% more of his hair in 3 years from age 50 to 53. Nobody can predict.
So the patient after hair transplant should be on anti androgens or 5alphareductaseblockers. You never know when you're going bald and when you're stable. It is a slow and progressive condition. There is no cure as such but someone who understands the whole thing and is willing to take medicines need not worry.
