Well in this case bro My legs were perfect, then I had to take off for about a year out of country, when I came back I received the x-rays and found i was hit. Doctor actually asked me to get them out around the year+ mark, so this one is on me.

Curious if anyone else has had to deal with this, and what their prognosis was.

Well I guess this subject matter is not too interesting, but I will update anyways for those who may need it.

Went in for my post surgery appointment, had stitches take out, legs feel fine, BUT.. of course due to the stryde side effects, Doc has me on crutches for 5 more weeks (hopefully). Will have an appointment again at that time. Will update you guys at that time with results on healing (post rod removal here). So here it goes.

If anyone has been through this process let me know!

God speed and walk tall, you LL GIANTS!

Sorry to hear that you have to use crutches. I’m sure you were expecting the process to be all done after nail removal. Otoh, with the incisions and scars still healing, and recovering to a normal walk with no stiffness, I don’t expect to be back to normal for a few weeks after nail removal anyway. I think having crutches isn’t that bad, aside from maybe being awkward at work if you’re not working from home. Best of luck!

Thanks for the positive words brother, yea you will be back in action in no time after the rod removal wounds heal (week or 2). I get feedback from research saying, your bones will be fine in about 6 weeks post stryde removal, i guess it is just that "uncertainty". But hey, I went through it for 6 months, when I put the rods in, I guess 6 weeks should be a breeze right? lol

God speed Giants.
