Yea precise has no historical issues with lysis near the juncture point of the rod. You are likely good to go after rod removal for precise.

After the removal, one could walk like normal? No need to adjust?
Yea no need at all.
You heal for about 1 week from the surgery incisions, but after that you feel normal. Walking on pure bone again.
It is almost spiritual. Instant babe magnet.

How filled in were your screw holes during your last X-ray? Did your doctor clear you for sports yet?
There was a considerable amount of "fill in", however still a bit transparent. He did not clear me for sports, mentioned to wait another 6 weeks for that. I believe 2 to 3 months is fairly standard after rod removal to allow your screw holes to fill in.
with that said, I am thrilled to be able to walk again without crutches. And even more thrilled, that this "lysis" business created by the stryde rod is isolated, and not something that spreads. It goes away after you take the rod out.
I guess to be safe, I will take another x ray of my legs in a year or so.
Be safe, be tall.
