Walking is still tough, can’t do it without painkillers but slowly getting better.

So, I’ve tried to measure my legs to see if they’re even. I don’t know if any other way to check if they are the same, if anyone can recommend advice, I am all ears. It seems like they are the same. But also, the laptop I placed isn’t even.

your pin sites look terrible, they should be covered.

The pin sites are fine, no pain and they’ve scabbed well with no infection. The cream I use “sudacream” helps lots with scabbing, but it makes everything look dried out and dirty. Hard to get off even with a shower.

Pretty fair size milestone conquered today. No longer requiring painkiller injections to walk, I'm able to get up and walk with some low dose tramadol and lyrica. I was really getting annoyed by injecting every other day, but finally seeing my pain tolerance drop. Also, recovery is going good, I will probably stop lengthening next week. Pretty excited, things are looking up!

Currently I've lengthened 5.5cm and out of literally nowhere I am experiencing incredible nerve pain in my right leg. The location sort of travels, from the point of the break in my tibia, and moving upwards past my knee. The pain is worse than anything experienced during lengthening. So far, I am able to cut the pain with Ibeuprofin, I have requested my doctors advice and as usual, it's crap. Take painkillers, maybe open the apparatus.

I am in dire need of advice or help on what to do, I have booked to see some neuropaths this week to get to the root of the problem, but any advice is welcome. I cannot sleep, and can barely lie down in one place without painkillers.

I want to comment on some points that may help
- U will gain almost what u have turned, so if u r sure u have turned 4 cms u will gain 4 cms . Maybe u weren't accurate in turns like u may turn 95 degrees or 100 degrees with 150 turns any slight increase will sum up to half or 1 cm happend with me , also note that xray is always longer than the reality the error is from 10 to 15% so if ur xRay shows 50 mm u r most likely 45mm

- its very hard to measure ur height during this period, ur posture is at its bad so dnt depend on that

- also its very hard for u to tell if 1 leg is longer than the other. The best way is to do a standing xray or long film get the xray in DICOM format and measure the leg length. Ur standing xray shall be performed while ur standing with straight legs no ballerina and no knees bending.

- nerve pain is normal at this stage dnt worry and during my journey it was the most terrible pain i've felt. Just use pain killers and it will go away after u stop lengthening it may take some time but u will feel good dnt worry.
